Who is Bilal? Islamabad driver caught indecent act during ride

Several serious complaints have been made against a ride-hailing driver in Islamabad, raising concerns about the safety of women using these services.

The driver, identified as Bilal, drives a silver Suzuki Cultus and has been accused of sexually inappropriate and harassing behavior. According to Islamabad Today, at least two women have shared disturbing experiences.

In one incident during Ramadan, Bilal reportedly exposed himself and behaved indecently while driving a female passenger. In another case, a woman said he followed her from I-8 sector to P.W.D. interchange after she left work, leaving her scared and upset.

The brother of one victim later confronted Bilal. During their exchange, the driver allegedly admitted to his actions and apologized.

These repeated incidents have sparked outrage and highlighted the lack of accountability in ride-hailing services, especially regarding women’s safety.

Authorities have been urged to investigate and take action against the accused. In the meantime, passengers are advised to stay alert, avoid this driver, and report any misconduct through the ride-hailing app’s complaint system.
