Roy Black was born in New York but spent most of his career in Miami. He studied law in Florida and became a respected name in criminal defense. His legal career spanned over five decades.

He became famous for representing high-profile clients in major criminal cases. Some of his most well-known clients were William Kennedy Smith, Jeffrey Epstein, Justin Bieber, Joe Francis, Kelsey Grammer, and Helio Castroneves.

Black was known for his smart courtroom presence and his deep understanding of the law. He was often called “the best criminal lawyer in America.”
