Check BISP August 2025 Payment – Amount, Date & Who’s Eligible

28 July, 2025 20:14

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is one of Pakistan’s biggest help programs for low-income families. It gives money every 3 months to women in poor households to help with basic needs.

As August 2025 begins, many people are asking:

  • When will the next BISP payment come?

  • How much money will they get?

  • How can they check their status?

Here’s a simple guide with all the answers.

What Is BISP 8171?

BISP 8171 is a system used to register families and send payments. It works under the NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry). Most of the time, the mother or a female guardian gets the money.

August 2025 Payment Details

Start Date:
Payments are expected to begin on 5th August 2025. The money will be given in steps, district by district, to avoid crowding.

Amount:
Each family will receive Rs. 13,500 this quarter. If you missed the last payment, you might get Rs. 27,000, depending on your status.

Where You’ll Get the Money:

  • BISP Camps

  • HBL Connect agents

  • JazzCash or Easypaisa (if linked to your CNIC)

  • ATM Machines (for BISP cardholders)

  • Mobile vans (in villages or flood-hit areas)

Who Can Get BISP Money?

You may qualify if:

  • Your household income is less than Rs. 30,000 per month

  • You are already registered in the NSER database

  • You are not a government worker or pension receiver

  • Your family is headed by a woman (widows and divorced women are given priority)

How to Check If You’ll Get Paid

Method 1: SMS

  • Type your 13-digit CNIC number

  • Send it to 8171

  • You’ll get a reply with your status

Method 2: Online

  • Go to the 8171 web portal

  • Enter your CNIC number

  • Solve the captcha and click Check

Method 3: Visit BISP Office

  • Take your original CNIC

  • They’ll check your record and guide you

Not Eligible? Here’s What to Do

If the system shows “Not Eligible,” it could be because of:

  • Wrong or missing data

What to do:

  • Visit the nearest BISP/NSER office

  • Ask for a re-survey of your household

  • Provide correct documents

  • Wait for confirmation and possible future payment

Common Problems and Solutions

1. Fingerprint Issues at ATM or Agent

  • Clean your hands and try again

  • Visit another center

  • Go to your BISP office for help

2. Deduction or Fraud

  • Never pay anyone to get your payment

  • Don’t trust unauthorized agents

  • Report any fraud directly to BISP

3. High PMT Score

  • If your poverty score is too high, you might be removed

  • You can request re-evaluation if your financial condition has worsened

Final Note

If you or someone you know is part of BISP, make sure to check your status through 8171 SMS or the online portal, and collect your money only from official sources.

This program is here to support you — use it wisely and stay safe from scams.
