8171 Web Portal updated for August 2025 – Check BISP Payment online

The 8171 Web Portal is the official online platform of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). It helps people check if they qualify for the Rs 13,500 quarterly payment, track their payment status, request help, or update their information—all from home.

Who Can Get Rs 13,500?

To qualify for the August 2025 BISP payment:

• You must be listed in the NSER database

• Your PMT score must be below 32 (some exceptions up to 37)

• You should be a female head of household, widow, orphan, or disabled person

• You should not be a government employee, pensioner, or owner of major assets

How to Check Your Status

Method 1: SMS

1. Type your 13-digit CNIC (without dashes)

2. Send it to 8171

3. You’ll get your result via SMS

Method 2: Online Portal

1. Go to the official 8171 web portal

2. Enter your CNIC or registered phone number

3. Solve the captcha and click “Check Status”

Method 3: Visit a Center

1. Go to your nearest BISP office or mobile van

2. Bring your original CNIC

3. Ask the staff to check your record or request a re-survey

What the Portal Messages Mean

Once your status says “Eligible”:

1. Wait for the SMS with collection info

2. Go to a BISP center, HBL Konnect agent, or ATM

3. Bring your original CNIC for fingerprint verification

4. Collect your payment

If you missed a past payment, you might get Rs 27,000 (double payment) this time.

Common Issues and Tips

• Portal errors or captcha fails? Try SMS method or clear browser cache

• Fingerprint not working? Clean your fingers or try another center

• Not eligible? Visit BISP office for re-survey

• No SMS? Make sure your SIM is registered with your CNIC
