A Daughter Following Her Father’s Path

Performing alongside her father, Munir Ahmed, Fatima began her journey riding as a passenger. Eventually, her passion led her to take the handlebars herself, and she has spent the past four years mastering the stunt. “I don’t have any brothers,” she explains. “So I decided to be like my father and support myself.”

From Reluctance to Support

Initially hesitant, Munir admits, “I used to tell her that girls don’t do this, people will talk,” but Fatima’s determination changed his mind. “She insisted, and I saw how serious she was.”

Fatima is aware of the risks involved and reveals that wearing a helmet isn’t possible during performances due to visibility issues. At local fairs, spectators often extend money mid-performance, which her father collects while riding alongside her.

Fatima only performs inside the wall due to her age. “I only ride inside the wall. But when I turn of age, I’ll get a license,” she says. She believes stunt performers deserve official support: “There should be proper training and safety systems. We have a talent that needs encouragement.”

Munir says Fatima isn’t very educated but values her skills highly: “The skill with which she rides a motorcycle is worth more than a degree.” He believes all daughters should be empowered with both education and practical skills.
