How to register for BISP in August 2025 – 8171 check & survey info

In August 2025, the Government of Pakistan is making extra efforts to help poor families through the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). This guide is made to help you understand how to register, who can apply, and what documents are needed.

What is BISP?

BISP is a government program that gives money every three months to poor families—especially women—to help them buy food, pay bills, and send kids to school. It started in 2008 and has helped millions across Pakistan.

Who Can Apply in August 2025?

You can apply for BISP if:

• Your total family income is below the poverty line.

• No one in your family is a government employee or pensioner.

• You don’t own large land (less than 3 acres is okay).

• A female head of the family (widow, divorced, or adult woman) is applying.

• Your family is listed in the NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry).

Why August 2025 is Important?

This month is very important because:

• New payments of ₨13,500 are being given.

• The Dynamic Survey is active for new or updated registrations.

• More registration centers have opened to help people.

How to Check If You’re Eligible?

Method 1: SMS

1. Open SMS app

2. Send your 13-digit CNIC to 8171

3. You’ll get one of these replies:

   • You’re eligible

   • Under review

   • Not eligible

Method 2: Online Portal

1. Go to 8171 web portal

2. Enter CNIC and security code

3. Submit to see your status

Method 3: Visit a Registration Center

• Go to your nearest BISP Tehsil Office or NSER Center

• They will help you with the Dynamic Survey and forms

Required Documents

Bring these with you:

• CNIC (your ID card)

• B-Forms of children (for education help)

• Utility bill (electricity or gas)

• Proof of income (if available)

• Mobile number in your name

What is the Dynamic Survey?

The NSER Dynamic Survey updates household records. It helps:

• Add newly poor families

• Remove families who are no longer poor

• Fix wrong or old information

If You’re Not Eligible

If you get a message saying “not eligible”:

• Visit NADRA to update your CNIC details

• Request a re-survey at the BISP center

• File a complaint if you think there’s a mistake

Extra Help for School-Going Kids (Taleemi Wazaif)

If your children go to school, you can also apply for Taleemi Wazaif:

• Get a small amount every month for each child

• Amount depends on class level

• Take school certificate and B-Forms with you
