Searches Underway for Missing Man Luke Martin Last Seen in Paignton on August 11

August 13, 2025 — Searches are continuing around Paignton as worries grow for Luke Martin, a man reported missing since Monday evening.
Luke was last seen near Halifax, Paignton, at about 5:30 pm on Monday, August 11. A Facebook post asking for information about his whereabouts has been shared over 750 times. The post says: “If anyone I know has seen or heard from Luke Martin since 5:30 pm Monday night, please can you contact me? Need to know where he is and he’s okay.”
Luke’s mother also shared the post, expressing her pain: “Where are you my darling son? Let someone know you’re okay. Our hearts are breaking right now.”
There have been reported sightings of Luke since Monday. The latest possible sighting was between 8 pm and 9 pm on Tuesday near Brixham Harbour. However, the people who saw him then lost track of him soon after.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed on Wednesday morning that Luke Martin remains missing from the Paignton area. They said, “We can confirm a person in the name of Luke Martin has been reported missing from the Paignton area and remains outstanding.”
