How to watch Fawad Khan’s ‘Abir Gulaal’ online?

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor’s much-awaited Bollywood film Aabir Gulal has finally cleared all hurdles, with its global theatrical release scheduled for August 29, 2025. However, the movie will not hit cinemas in India due to ongoing diplomatic tensions between the two countries.

Initially planned for release on May 12, 2025, the film was postponed following a deadly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, located in Indian-administered Kashmir, at the end of April. The tragic incident claimed several lives and heightened political tensions.

In the aftermath, India accused Pakistan of involvement in the Pahalgam attack — an allegation Pakistan has repeatedly denied. Subsequently, India imposed a ban on Pakistani artists and YouTube channels, further straining cultural ties.

As of now, Aabir Gulal is not available on any streaming platforms, and there have been no official announcements regarding its release on services like Netflix, Prime Video, or Disney+. The film’s worldwide launch in August is expected to generate significant buzz internationally despite its absence from Indian theaters.
