Saoirse-Monica Jackson Marries DJ Denis Sulta in Lavish Three-Day Irish-Scottish Wedding

Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson has tied the knot with DJ Denis Sulta in a spectacular three-day wedding celebration in County Kerry, blending Irish and Scottish traditions. The 31-year-old actress, who went public with their relationship in September 2021, exchanged vows with the 32-year-old DJ at Dromquinna Manor over the weekend.

To honour Sulta’s Scottish heritage, Jackson wore a custom reversible wedding gown by Annie Doble of Annie’s Ibiza, featuring a tartan underlayer. She described the dress as a “Celtic warrior princess” look, complete with a corseted bodice, puffed sleeves, and an asymmetric skirt. The tartan twist came as a surprise to her new husband.

“We wanted both of our cultures and our families and friends to be at the centre of it,” Jackson told Vogue.

The festivities were filled with surprises, including her father changing into a Darth Vader costume, a performance by a singer dressed as Elphaba from Wicked, and an Irish storyteller. The couple, engaged in 2023 during a trip to Donegal, partied into the early hours. “Dancing went well into the early hours… some were out until 7am,” Jackson shared.

The celebrations continued with a pub gathering the next day before returning to the venue for more partying. Jackson, also known for her role in The Five, often shares glimpses of her relationship on Instagram, much to the delight of fans who were once surprised by the pairing.
