LONDON – Mahnoor Cheema, a British student of Pakistani origin, has made history by achieving 24 A grades in her A-Level examinations, setting a new world record.

Her exceptional academic feat has earned her a place at the prestigious Exeter College, University of Oxford, where she will pursue a degree in medicine. Mahnoor described receiving the offer as “a dream come true” and expressed excitement about beginning her studies in October.

“I’m extremely happy to have received an offer to study medicine at Oxford. I look forward to beginning this new chapter of my life in October,” she told a private news channel.

Mahnoor’s father, Barrister Usman Cheema, voiced immense pride in her accomplishments, highlighting that her A-Level results — the highest number of A grades ever awarded to a single student worldwide — reflect her years of dedication and passion for medicine.

“It was always Mahnoor’s dream to study medicine. Breaking four world records and being offered admission to Oxford is a historic achievement for her and an inspiration for many,” he said.
