Good News: Three Consecutive Holidays Expected From September 5 to 7
The public may enjoy three consecutive holidays at the start of September.
According to sources from the Meteorological Department and the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal is likely to be sighted on August 24. If this prediction holds true, 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal will fall on Friday, September 5. The day will be observed with religious fervour nationwide, accompanied by a public holiday.
Following this, another holiday is expected on Saturday, September 6, to mark Pakistan Defence Day, when the nation pays tribute to its martyrs and ghazis. The chain of holidays will continue with Sunday, September 7, which is the routine weekly day off.
In this way, citizens may benefit from three consecutive holidays. Sociologists believe this break will provide an opportunity for people to strengthen family and social bonds while attaining peace of mind.
It is noteworthy that throughout this year, the public has enjoyed several occasions of extended holidays, celebrated across the country in a festive manner.
