Ehsaas Program August 2025: Step-by-Step Guide to Withdraw Rs. 13,500 Payment

In August 2025, the Government of Pakistan has begun disbursing the Ehsaas Program (8171) payment of Rs. 13,500 to registered families across the country. Beneficiaries who missed earlier cycles may also receive a double installment of Rs. 27,000.

According to officials, the payment is available only to those who are already part of the BISP/8171 registry, have received a confirmation SMS, and have updated information verified in the system. A key requirement this time is biometric verification, which is now mandatory for all beneficiaries before collection.

To check payment status, families can use three methods. The SMS method allows applicants to text their 13-digit CNIC to 8171 and receive updates such as “Payment Ready” or “Under Verification.” The web portal option lets beneficiaries enter their CNIC online to verify eligibility. Additionally, individuals can visit their nearest BISP or Ehsaas office to confirm details in person.

Once eligibility is confirmed, beneficiaries must complete biometric verification at an HBL Konnect outlet, BISP camp, ATM partner bank, or mobile van service. Families are required to bring their original CNIC and SMS confirmation message. After a successful biometric scan, payments can be collected through ATMs, Konnect/POS agents, Sahulat Accounts, or mobile wallets like JazzCash and Easypaisa.

Officials have clarified that the biometric verification process is completely free at authorized centers. In case of fingerprint issues, beneficiaries may try other centers or use face verification where available.

Beneficiaries are reminded that payments can only be collected personally—no one else is allowed to withdraw on their behalf.

This initiative aims to ensure transparent distribution of financial aid, providing timely relief to deserving families.
