Who is Ahsan Iqbal? Man Attacks Former Fiancée and Her Family Over Broken Engagement

DUNYIAPUR – A dispute over a broken engagement in Chak No. 337-WB ended in tragedy when a man, identified as Ahsan Iqbal, brutally killed two women and seriously injured his former fiancée.

According to police, the suspect attacked the family of his ex-fiancée with a sharp-edged weapon. During the assault, he fatally stabbed Atta Mai, the mother of Mutmaz Araien, and her sister, Naziran Bibi.

The suspect’s former fiancée, Saira Bibi, sustained serious injuries in the attack. Rescue 1122 officials shifted her to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.

Local residents managed to overpower the accused on the spot and handed him over to the police. Authorities later recovered the murder weapon and formally arrested Ahsan Iqbal.
