Who is Hassan Zahid? Man Who Threatened to Kill TikToker Samiya Shianz Arrested

Islamabad: Police have arrested a man identified as Hassan Zahid for allegedly harassing TikToker Samia Hijab and threatening to kill her.

According to reports, the incident came to light after the victim submitted a complaint at Shalimar Police Station. Following the complaint and a statement she released on social media, police registered a case and arrested the accused.

Samia Hijab, a friend of TikToker Sana Yousaf, was allegedly subjected to an attempted abduction after refusing a marriage proposal. The attempt, however, was unsuccessful.

In a video message seeking protection from Islamabad Police, Samia stated that a Lahore resident had been harassing her and issuing death threats since she rejected his proposal. She alleged that the suspect, Hassan Zahid, had been stalking her for the past three months and had recently reached her residence in Islamabad.

According to her statement, Zahid asked her to accompany him and, upon her refusal, attempted to abduct her by forcing her into a car.

The TikToker further revealed that at the time of the incident, her ailing mother was at home while her brother was away. She warned that if she was harmed or killed, Hassan Zahid would be directly responsible.
