BISP Complaint Status September 2025 – How to Track Online

The government has outlined several methods for beneficiaries to track the status of their Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) complaints, ensuring smoother access to updates and resolutions.

According to officials, beneficiaries can use the BISP online portal by entering their complaint reference number, CNIC, and security code to check whether a case is pending, under review, or resolved. Some complaints may also be forwarded to the Federal Ombudsman (Mohtasib) system, where users can log in with their complaint ID and CNIC to view updates like “in process” or “documents required.”

The Pakistan Citizen Portal app is another option, where users can track complaints under the “My Complaints” tab, view history, and even escalate cases if no action is taken. For those preferring direct assistance, the BISP helpline allows beneficiaries to call, provide their CNIC and reference number, and get real-time updates. Additionally, visiting local BISP Tehsil offices remains the most reliable option, especially for urgent cases.

Authorities advise keeping documents ready—such as CNIC, complaint reference, and SMS confirmations—to avoid delays. While most issues, like payment delays or biometric verification errors, can take days to weeks to resolve, officials urge beneficiaries not to panic and to continue tracking progress.

Common issues such as “Blocked” or “Needs Verification” statuses usually require updated CNICs, family data, or biometric verification. Beneficiaries are also encouraged to follow preventive measures, including keeping CNICs updated, saving all SMS and receipts, and avoiding unofficial agents.

As one BISP official noted, behind every complaint is a story of survival. “For many families, tracking complaints is not just a technical process—it’s a lifeline for their daily needs,” the statement emphasized.
