Tragedy in Calpe: Baby Girl Killed and Mother Injured in Costa Blanca Accident

A tragic accident shocked the Costa Blanca resort town of Calpe. A three-week-old baby girl was killed, and her mother was seriously injured after being hit by a runaway car. The incident happened in front of the woman’s husband and their four-year-old son.

Baby Died After Emergency Transfer

The baby was being pushed in a pram when the out-of-control vehicle rolled down a hill. She was rushed to the La Fe Hospital in Valencia and admitted to the neo-natal intensive care unit. Sadly, doctors could not save her, and she died shortly after arrival.

Mother Suffers Severe Injuries

The baby’s mother was also badly hurt in the crash. Reports say she lost one of her legs and suffered a blood clot due to the impact. She remains in the intensive care unit at Denia Hospital, where doctors are keeping her under close observation.
