Videos circulating online show the fish trapped inside transparent films with a small amount of water, leaving them in extremely confined spaces without access to fresh water. Experts warn that placing these fish on heated metal car hoods in Pakistan’s extreme temperatures further increases their suffering.

The car involved in this incident is a white Suzuki Alto with license plate number BFV 544, registered in Islamabad. Footage also briefly shows the location of the car mechanic’s shop believed to have created this display. Authorities and the public are urged to report any information regarding the vehicle or its location to the police.

Animal rights supporters note that while aquariums already restrict fish from their natural freedom, this public display represents an even greater level of cruelty and ignorance. Those responsible have been criticized as reckless individuals lacking basic compassion and awareness.
