BISP announces new rules for smooth payment from September 25

The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has announced that installment payments will start on September 25, 2025. This time, BISP has introduced strict rules for partner banks and payment institutions (PFIs) to make sure families receive money with respect and without problems.

1. Cash Availability

• Cash must always be available at camp sites.

• Penalty: Rs. 10,000 per day if cash runs out.

2. Basic Facilities at Camps
Every camp must provide:

• Shade

• Drinking water

• Seating arrangements

• Clear signboards

• Penalty: Rs. 50,000 per violation.

3. Call Centers for Complaints

• Each PFI must run a call center with at least 15 agents.

• Penalty: Rs. 25,000 per day if this is not done.

Responsibilities of Officers

BISP field officers and regional offices must upload daily reports in the PCMS (Payment Complaint Management System). If they fail, strict action will be taken. This system helps the government track payments and solve problems in real time.
