The Putman family has confirmed the heartbreaking loss of three of their members—Bill Putman, Barb Putman, and Megan Putman—following a severe car accident. The family shared the devastating news on social media on September 27, 2025, expressing their grief and faith in Jesus Christ during this difficult time.

The Putmans rose to fame with their TLC show Meet the Putmans nearly eight years ago and later gained a strong following on YouTube with their channel Growing Up Putman. Megan Putman, one of the deceased, was married to Blake Putman, the son of Bill and Barb. Together, Megan and Blake had four children: Mercy, Noah, Lulu, and Alena.

In their tribute, the family wrote, “We ask for continued prayers for Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah, and Gia as they recover, and for our whole family as we walk through this deep loss.” They expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers from fans and well-wishers.

While three family members tragically died, several others were injured in the accident and remain hospitalized. The family has been providing regular updates on their conditions via Instagram. One day after the tribute, they revealed that Noah, who is under sedation, has been showing signs of response, which they see as a hopeful sign. Regarding another injured family member, Gia, they shared, “Gia underwent a craniotomy last night, and we are thankful to report that her care team shared some encouraging news, her brain pressure has gone down significantly. This is a powerful reminder that God’s hand is on her, guiding her healing every step of the way.”

The accident occurred on Hurds Corner Road when a semi-truck, driven by Pavel Shchukin, collided with a jeep carrying the Putman family. The semi-truck reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to the tragic crash. The jeep had eight occupants, three of whom died on the spot. Police have taken Pavel Shchukin into custody on multiple charges, including moving violations resulting in death and impairment of body function. The semi-truck driver and other individuals involved sustained minor injuries.

The Putman family continues to share updates and requests prayers as they navigate this immense tragedy.
