23-year-old Kada Scott in Philadelphia. Her family remains deeply worried but hopeful, as the search continues with growing community support. Kada’s father, Kevin Scott, has been speaking to media, urging the public to help bring his daughter home.

Last Time Kada Was Seen

Kada was last seen on Saturday night, October 4, when she left her home on Rodney Street in East Mount Airy to go to work. She works the overnight shift from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill, an assisted living center.
Police confirmed that she arrived at her workplace but left early before her shift ended. After that, she vanished without any trace.

Family’s Emotional Battle

Kevin Scott shared how each passing day has become more painful.

“Each day gets harder emotionally. We want Kada home as soon as possible,” he said.

Despite the heartbreak, the family stays strong, believing Kada is alive and somewhere waiting to be found.

Community Support and Prayer

A prayer service was held at the senior living facility where Kada worked. Church members and local residents gathered to show support.

“They are not alone, no matter what,” said Joe Massengale from Christian Stronghold Church.

Police Investigation and Suspect

Police have identified 21-year-old Keon King as a suspect connected to Kada’s disappearance.

  • He is currently held on $250,000 cash bail.

  • He faces kidnapping and stalking charges.
    Authorities revealed that King has a history of similar offenses. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner urged anyone with more information or past incidents to come forward.

Family Organizes Community Search

The family has planned a public search at 5 p.m. at Awbury Arboretum in Northwest Philadelphia.
Kevin Scott invited everyone willing to help: “It’s all hands on deck. Whatever gets Kada home.”

Participants are asked to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and carry trash bags to search through wooded areas.

Reward Increased

The family has increased the reward to $12,000 for any solid information that leads to Kada’s location. They continue to ask the public to stay alert and report anything suspicious.
