In his conversation, Efron confirmed that he is in a committed relationship with King, who prefers to stay out of the social media spotlight. “Courtney King is not on social media and works ’40 hours a week,’” Efron mentioned, highlighting her down-to-earth nature. He added that King has never pressured him with a timeline, stating, “Look, we’re 33. She’s not going to put a deadline on it.”

Despite their low-key approach to fame, Efron revealed that it was King who encouraged him to join The Traitors, a move that ultimately led to his victory and a share of the $204,300 prize. Reflecting on their bond, he shared, “She’s always kind of said, ‘You should do something like this,’ because even on social media, I’m known on there, but people don’t really see my personality. If people could see your personality, they’d fall in love with you like I did.”

Efron also acknowledged the demanding nature of his career, especially during his time on Dancing With the Stars. The rigorous schedule, which includes daily rehearsals of up to five hours, has been challenging for both Efron and King. “It’s not, like, I’m hiding her from the world or anything,” Efron explained, emphasizing their understanding of the pressures his career entails. He further described their relationship as strong and stable, despite the hardships posed by his professional commitments. “She’s so supportive. She knows I love her, 100 percent. We know it’s all temporary, so that’s why I don’t think anything’s really changed.”

Efron also shared that while the DWTS schedule has been demanding, living separately from King during this time has allowed him to be “closer to where the studio is.” Nevertheless, he reaffirmed that their bond remains unshaken, and they continue to be in a “great place” as a couple.
