Is Adam Kinzinger married? Steven Cheung makes shocking Grindr claims
Former U.S. Congressman Adam Kinzinger has become the subject of an online controversy after Steven Cheung shared alleged personal photos of him on social media platform X on Thursday, October 23.
Cheung posted a collage that included a half-naked picture of a man, which he claimed was Adam Kinzinger’s, along with a photo of a bicep tattoo matching one Kinzinger has in other images. Below the collage, there was a phrase reading:
“Adam Kinzinger loves showing off his tattoo on GRINDR.”
The White House communications director captioned the post: “Literally you.”
While the authenticity of the pictures has not been confirmed, the post has sparked online discussions about Kinzinger’s sexuality and his marriage.
According to a Rockford Register Star report from February 2020, Kinzinger married Sofia Boza-Holman in a Guatemalan monastery courtyard. After their wedding, he shared a statement saying:
“It’s official: I am one very lucky man to now have such an incredible woman as my wife. Sofia and I feel incredibly blessed to have the love and support of so many over this past week, and we know God was at the center of it all.”
He also thanked his “constituents, neighbors, family, and friends” for their support. At the time, Boza-Holman worked as a press secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The latest tweet from Cheung appears to be part of a heated online exchange between the two. The argument began when Kinzinger criticized Cheung for working on the White House ballroom project, to which Cheung replied:
“The ballroom is going to look so spectacular. Even your simple and dumb *ss will want to go.”
Kinzinger mocked Cheung’s response with a zoomed-in image, and Cheung later escalated by posting the alleged pictures.
In a separate issue earlier this month, Steven Cheung criticized the Nobel Committee for not awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump, saying the committee was putting “politics over peace.”
Cheung argued that Trump, who he described as having “the heart of a humanitarian,” deserved recognition for “making peace deals, ending wars, and saving lives.”
The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was instead awarded to Maria Corina Machado. Previous U.S. presidents who have received the honor include Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, Woodrow Wilson, and Theodore Roosevelt.
