The long-rumored relationship between Canada’s former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and pop star Katy Perry has now been confirmed after the two made a public appearance in Paris on Saturday to celebrate the singer’s birthday.

Rumors about their relationship began earlier when they were seen together in September, walking on a yacht off the coast of California — photos that quickly went viral on social media.

Now, putting all speculation to rest, Trudeau and Perry were spotted leaving Paris’s Crazy Horse Theatre, confirming their relationship. The two looked happy together — Trudeau in a black outfit and Perry stunning in red — smiling for the cameras.

The couple was first seen together in July, enjoying a walk through the streets of Montreal and sharing light moments.

According to People magazine, the 41-year-old singer recently ended her engagement with Orlando Bloom, while the 53-year-old former leader has been divorced for two years. Sources close to the couple shared that they “have an easy connection,” and that “she finds him attractive” while “he’s been very respectful.”

Perry is currently in Paris for her Lifetimes Tour, promoting her latest album “143.” The tour has covered the US, Canada, and Australia, with a sold-out performance in Montreal — where Trudeau was reportedly present
