Chrishell Stause, star of Netflix’s reality series Selling Sunset, and musician G Flip began their relationship in March 2022, quickly turning it into a serious romance that culminated in a Las Vegas wedding. Both now appear on the hit show, adding vibrant queer representation to the series.

During the season 5 reunion of Selling Sunset in May 2022, Stause officially announced her relationship with G Flip, and the couple has since become a fan favorite. They openly discuss topics such as self-identity, expression, family planning, and gender identity, making their presence on the show highly impactful.

G Flip, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, admitted that the show was “an extremely toxic space,” but participated to support their wife and ensure “the show gets some queer representation.”

Born Georgia Claire Flipo on September 22, 1993, in Melbourne, Australia, G Flip is 32 years old, while Stause is 44. The couple has faced online criticism due to their 12-year age gap, with Stause telling Vogue Australia, “Every day I’m seeing like three positive comments and then hundreds of puke emojis and midlife crisis comments.”

G Flip began their musical career at a young age after receiving a drum kit from their uncle at age nine. They started professionally as a drummer for the band EMPRA at 19 and released their first single, About You, in 2018, followed by their debut album About Us in 2019. They have received multiple awards, including the ARIA Emerging Artists Scholarship and Breakthrough Independent Artist of the Year at the Australian Independent Record Awards.

The couple first met at a Halloween party, and their relationship quickly flourished. In March 2023, Stause celebrated their one-year anniversary, posting on social media, “Our first year is gonna be hard to beat, but here’s to trying!” Following their wedding in Las Vegas, she wrote, “Love doesn’t always go as planned… Sometimes it’s immeasurably better.”

Speaking about joining Selling Sunset, G Flip explained, “Representation is so important for the queer space – and to show healthy queer relationships and non-binary representation. So when I say yes to going on the show, it’s for that reason and to support my wife.”
