Who Is Naveed Akram? Suspect Identified, Australia Beach Shooting

Australian authorities have identified Naveed Akram as a suspected attacker in the deadly shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, according to official sources.

Australia’s national broadcaster reported that Akram, described as being of Pakistani origin and a resident of Sydney’s south-western suburbs, is among those allegedly involved in the attack.

A senior law enforcement official confirmed that police raided Akram’s residence in the Bonnyrigg area on Sunday evening as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.

Police have stated that one of the people killed in the shooting is believed to have been among the attackers, while another alleged assailant was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Images circulating on social media reportedly show Naveed Akram seated in a room with a religious cleric, with religious books visible in the background. In addition, a copy of the alleged attacker’s driving licence has also surfaced online.

According to available information, Naveed Akram is 24 years old. Authorities have emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and further details will be released as inquiries progress.
