Epstein files case: Bill Clinton Responds to Release of New Epstein Photos

21 December, 2025 17:34

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has issued a strong response following the release of new photographs linked to the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein case, accusing the government of attempting to shift blame onto him for political gain.

In a statement shared by Clinton’s spokesperson on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the former president vehemently rejected any implications surrounding the photos. The spokesperson argued that the release of these “20-year-old and unclear photographs” was a deliberate attempt to divert attention from the real issues at the heart of the Epstein scandal.

“This case was never about Bill Clinton and never will be,” the spokesperson said, urging that the focus should remain on those directly responsible for Epstein’s crimes.

The statement also referenced comments attributed to Suzy Wiles, a close ally of former U.S. President Donald Trump, who reportedly acknowledged that Trump has made false statements about Clinton. According to the spokesperson, such remarks underscore a larger effort to distort the truth for political reasons.

Further addressing the matter, Clinton’s representative, Angel Orena, responded to the photographs that have been widely circulated, reportedly showing an underground bathtub linked to Epstein. Orena clarified that there are two distinct groups of individuals connected to Epstein: those who severed ties after becoming aware of Epstein’s criminal activities, and those who continued their association despite knowing the truth. “We are in the first group,” Orena asserted, emphasizing Clinton’s distance from Epstein’s actions.

Orena added that attempts to delay legal proceedings or manipulate the narrative would not alter the facts of the case. He reaffirmed that the key questions surrounding the Epstein scandal remain unresolved, and that the release of old photos should not distract from the need for justice and accountability.

Clinton’s spokesperson concluded the statement by emphasizing that the focus should remain on uncovering the full truth behind Epstein’s actions, rather than allowing misleading tactics to overshadow the ongoing investigation.
