All Airports in Greece Face Technical Glitch, Flights Suspended

Air operations across all airports in Greece have been completely suspended due to a sudden technical fault, resulting in the cancellation of hundreds of domestic and international flights, including those at Athens International Airport.

According to international news agencies, “a fault was detected in the radio communication system of Greek air traffic control,” leading authorities to halt all aircraft movements as a safety precaution.

Passengers at airports are facing severe disruptions, with many unable to depart even after long waits, and numerous foreign tourists stranded.

Greek officials stated that technical experts are working to resolve the radio system malfunction and that the situation is being carefully monitored.

Airlines have advised travelers to “check the status of their flights before heading to the airport,” while authorities expressed hope that the issue will be resolved soon.
