Famous Qawwal Faces Legal Action Over Song “Nak Da Koka”

During an event at Shalimar Bagh in Lahore, a case has been filed against renowned qawwal Faraz Khan and his associates under serious charges, including sedition, for performing the song “Nak Da Koka.”

The case was registered by Baghbanpura Police on the statement of Shalimar Bagh in-charge, Zameer ul Hassan. The complaint alleges that the qawwal and his team deliberately performed the song without prior permission during a program organized by the Walled City Authority at Shalimar Bagh.

According to the complainant, the performance incited public anger and created a risk to public order. Authorities confirmed that the case has been registered and legal proceedings are ongoing.

Police have stated that further investigation will continue, and necessary action will be taken in accordance with the law.
