BISP Taleemi Wazaif - Updates on registration and stipend
ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) offers a quarterly stipend to encourage families to send their children to school. This support is provided under the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif scheme, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of education and increase school enrollment among BISP beneficiary families.
Who Can Apply
Children of active BISP Kafalat beneficiaries are eligible for the scheme:
Primary Education: Ages 4–12
Secondary Education: Ages 8–18
Higher Secondary Education: Ages 13–22
After verification, the child’s name is added to the Taleemi Wazaif list, and the stipend is given once attendance requirements are met.
How to Register
Parents must take their children to the nearest BISP Tehsil Office with the child’s NADRA B-Form for registration.
The BISP officer issues an enrollment slip.
The school fills in the slip.
Parents return the slip to the BISP office.
Stipend is released after verification.
Quarterly Stipend Amounts
Primary: Rs 2,500 for boys, Rs 3,000 for girls
Secondary: Rs 3,500 for boys, Rs 4,000 for girls
Higher Secondary: Rs 4,500 for boys, Rs 5,000 for girls
Bonus: Rs 3,000 for girls completing primary education
The scheme provides financial support while promoting education, especially for girls, helping families keep their children in school.
