Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu calls on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi was also present on the occasion.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister led delegation called on President Arif Alvi in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

During the meeting, Pakistan and Turkey agreed to further solidify and expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade and culture.

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister also met his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad today.

FMs of Pakistan and Turkey agree on joint strategy at international level on matters of mutual interests.

They reached understanding to pursue a joint strategy at the international level on matters of mutual interests.

Besides, it will further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The two Foreign Ministers expressed concerns over the rising trend of Islamophobia.

Furthermore, they stressed for joint efforts to protect the Islamic values.

Both the Foreign Ministers also emphasized the need for implementation of Pakistan-Turkey Strategic Economic Framework at the earliest.

Hilal-e-Pakistan for Turkish Foreign Minister

Meanwhile, President Dr. Arif Alvi conferred Hilal-e-Pakistan on Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

He conferred it in recognition of his services for international peace and security and further strengthening of Pakistan-Turkey bilateral relationship.

The investiture ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz also attended the ceremony.
