Bisma Maroof and Ghulam Fatima, two players participating in the ongoing training camp of the national women’s cricket team, were injured in a car accident.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), both the players have been given first aid and their condition is out of danger.

PCB officials said that both the players are part of the ongoing camp in Karachi and they sustained minor injuries in the car accident on Friday night after which they were provided first aid.

Sources said that both the players had left the hotel after taking tea with a fellow cricketer based in Karachi on Friday night, when their car hit the pavement while taking a U-turn. However, other players were safe in the accident.

They added that Bisma Maroof and Ghulam Fatima’s injuries were also very minor as both the players have undergone precautionary tests at the local hospital and PCB’s medical panel is also looking after them.
