Palestinian woman sets up mobile school for Gaza children

Despite the ongoing war in Gaza, a Palestinian trainee lawyer, Noor Nassar, has ensured that children of the war-torn country don’t miss out their education.
She has created a mobile classroom which is providing literacy and numeracy lessons to children of all ages.
Nassar took the initiative in response to the devastating effects of Israel’s war on Gaza.
So far over 75 percent of the territory’s schools have been destroyed since October.
“I began training to host activities for children and started volunteering in local institutions. I found that their minds were rusty, they forgot what they were taught, they forgot their childhood. I started to think of how I could help these children,” she said while talking to Al Jazeera.
The war has displaced most of the population, leaving thousands of children without access to education.
“School without borders” aims to bridge this gap.
Despite the challenges, she remains optimistic and determinant to make a difference in the lives of Gaza’s children.
It is worth mentioning here that the death toll of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has reached 37,372, with at least 85,452 people injured in Israeli attacks since last October.
