Lala Kent Breaks Silence on Ongoing Rift with Scheana Shay

Lala Kent has spoken candidly about her tense relationship with Scheana Shay during an appearance on Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast. The Vanderpump Rules star confirmed that she and Scheana have yet to reconcile following their highly publicized fallout.

The rift between the longtime friends drew significant media attention, especially after Scheana released her first memoir, My Good Side. Speaking about the current state of their friendship, Lala admitted:

“We’re bumpy. We’re bumpy right now. It makes me sad because, you know, we’re not filming a show together.”

Lala went on to explain that it was not the accusations that hurt her the most, but rather the way they were aired publicly. She expressed disappointment that Scheana chose to discuss their issues on her podcast rather than having a direct and meaningful conversation.

Previously, on her own Untraditionally Lala podcast, Kent voiced her frustration over the situation, saying:

“I am not a robot. You don’t click in what you need from me; I’m a person with a life. I posted the book when you announced it for a pre-order, and I did post the book when I got it.”

Scheana, meanwhile, offered her perspective on Scheananigans, asserting that Lala’s account was incomplete. She explained:

“I do feel the need to address it because Lala knows why our friendship is in the state that it’s in. This is not just about not posting my book for a week. It is about so much more than that.”

Scheana Shay Reveals the Real Reason Behind the Rift

In a surprising revelation, Scheana disclosed that the falling-out was linked to her husband Brock Davies’ past infidelity. She revealed that Brock had cheated on her in 2021 while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer.

According to Scheana, she confided in Lala about the affair long before her memoir’s release. However, the matter became more complicated when the private information spread to others.

“Not one — but two — of my closest friends repeated the Brock affair story to other people. One of those that it was repeated to was Brittany [Cartwright]. I know Brittany doesn’t have bad intentions. I wanted to tell her myself but I didn’t have a chance. That one that I can’t get over is Lala telling [our mutual friend] Jenna Willis, who I have not been on good terms with since last season.”

Scheana claimed that Lala shared the story to “humanize” her during a tense situation, explaining that Jenna had been critical of Scheana. While acknowledging that Lala’s motives were not malicious, Scheana emphasized that someone she had considered a close friend for 15 years could have handled things differently.

Describing the situation as “extremely heartbreaking,” the reality TV personality admitted that the betrayal deeply affected her and continues to weigh heavily on their long-standing friendship.
