Watson offered whopping $2m to coach Pakistan

With just a few months remaining in the ICC T20 World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board has bowed down to Shan Watson’s demand, who is set to become the highest-paid coach of Pakistan’s history.

According to repot, Watson has been offered an annual salary of $2 million by the PCB, which means he would bag around Rs46 million per month.

If the agreement is signed, Watson could potentially become the highest-paid coach in the history of Pakistan cricket.

However, he is unlikely to accept the offer due to family reasons. The Australia legend does not want to stay away from his family for a long period of time.

Meanwhile, Mike Hesson and Daren Sammy are other two candidates for the post.

Hesson and Sammy are currently working as head coach for Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi, respectively.
