Complete shutdown observed on Sheikh Aziz martyrdom anniversary in IOJK (Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir) today. 

 

The oppressed Kashmiris  paid tributes to the sacrifices of senior Hurriyat leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz for the freedom cause of Kashmir on his 12th martyrdom anniversary, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, All Parties Hurriyat Conference gave call for the strike.

Almost all Hurriyat leaders and organization supported the call for strike.

Indian troops had shot dead Sheikh Abdul Aziz,  while he was leading a march from Srinagar to the Line of Control on this day in 2008.

Meanwhile, killing of three missing Kashmiri labourers by Indian troops in yet another fake encounter in Shopian has drawn severe criticism across the Kashmir valley.

Earlier,  Indian authorities had extended the restrictions on public activities and movement in Srinagar for another week.

Restrictions aim at stopping protests against Indian occupation.

Meanwhile, the Indian army backed BJP Budgam district president Abdul Hamid Najar succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in Srinagar.

He was shot at and injured by attackers yesterday near railway station in Ompur area of the Budgam district.

People of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) will observe Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14 with full zeal and fervor.

However, they will observe India’s Independence Day on August 15 as black day.

Spokesman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference made this announcement in a message issued in Srinagar.

He further said Pakistan serves as a shelter for the Muslim community and the hearts of Kashmiri people beat with Pakistan.
