According to Kashmir Media Service, the soldier identified as Rakshit Kumar shot himself in the head with his service rifle in a camp in Uri area of the district.

The KMS report quoted a police official as saying this in IOJK (Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir).

Pertinently, an officer of Indian Border Security Force (BSF), Chakerpani Prasad Tiwari, committed suicide in a camp in Gajansu area of Jammu region, yesterday.

Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference accused India of using every brutal tactic to continue its illegal hold on Jammu and Kashmir.

The APHC spokesman said this in a statement in Srinagar on Friday.

He said fascist Modi government is resorting to strong-arm-tactics to suppress Kashmiris’ just struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.
