US & Germany rift widens

According to the International sources the Iran War has brought many changes in the International Scenario, as the US-Iran War prolongs the relation between US and Germany are deteriorating. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and US President Donald Trump exchange of words has erupted a debate over International media.

Merz open remarks on the failure of dialogues between Tehran and Washington calling it a “Humiliation” and lack of strategy. It was a crucial time for such an statement when deployed troops were announced to fled back from German soil, whereas US heavily rely on its deployment in Germany for the Iran War.

This statement has escalated a tension among US officials and policy makers. Roger Wicker and Mike Rogers both Republican Politicians, chairs of the Senate and House Armed Services Committees, expressed “grave concern” over the withdrawal.

The German Chancellors office stated it is high time to deploy our own troops for the safety and no more rely on false promises. German officials said they are not an ally in this Iran War but still sent a minesweeper in the Strait of Hormuz.
