Prince William Issues Apology for Skipping Major Royal Celebration

On Wednesday, King Charles hosts a summer party at Buckingham Palace where, all the senior working member of the royal family were present except Prince and princess of Wales. They missed the important royal gatherings.

As King Charles’s team released highlights from the event, after that the future king of Britain express regret for his absence due to the reason of some of another crucial event.

Prince William recorded a personal message when he had been at Kensington Palace, is about as the Patron of the Football Association for Women’s Football Awards.

The message started with an apology, saying “sorry” for not present at the year’s ceremony as like other royal family member.

Then Prince William congratulate Women’s Football Awards by saying, “I’m delighted to send my warmest congratulations to everyone involved in the 2026 Women’s Football Awards,”

He more added, “This event celebrates not only remarkable sporting achievement, but also the dedication, resilience and leadership that continues to drive the women’s game forwards, from grass roots to the very top.”

“Women’s football has seen extraordinary growth in recent years but that progress is a result of the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who believe in its power to inspire and unite communities.”

Willaim ends his message with appreciate the nominees and winners for their hard work and effort they put in the game, and stated that it was a “well-deserved recognition”. He also mentions those people who actively and dedicatedly works behind the scene which help to elevate women’s sports.

The message also comes as William’s nephew marked his seventh birthday in Montecito. Even though the Prince of Wales remains estranged from his brother Prince Harry, it was surprising that he had chosen to opt out of engagements for that particular date on Wednesday and also on Thursday.

Through the message Prince of Wales also mark his nephew’s 7^th birthday in Montecito, despite all the feud between brothers, still William alienates from his brother Prince Harry. It was notable that he had chosen not to attend events on both Wednesday and Thursday.
