Satellite Images Show Widespread Damage at US Bases After Iranian Strikes
Military Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) sources have released satellite images that they say show damage caused by recent Iranian strikes on US military sites in the Middle East.
The images, released on Sunday, reportedly show damage at military facilities in Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
According to the sources, one image shows a destroyed MQ-4C Triton drone hangar at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan. Another image shows damage to a hangar at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in the region.
The images also reportedly show damage to an equipment storage facility at the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain and a fire at a US base used to launch HIMARS rocket systems.
The report comes as tensions between Iran and the United States remain high following recent military exchanges.
Iran has accused the United States of continuing military actions despite a Pakistan-mediated memorandum of understanding between the two countries. Tehran says it will continue responding to any attacks on its territory.
Iran has also said it has increased its military response policy and has closed the Strait of Hormuz to maritime traffic until US military activity in the region ends.
