Seven Palestinians, including a woman and a child, were wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip as Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement.
Medical sources said six of the wounded Palestinians were taken to Nasser Hospital after Israeli forces opened fire in southern and central areas of Khan Yunis.
Witnesses said Israeli tanks also shelled tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the al-Mawasi area, south of Khan Yunis and north of Rafah.
Another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire on al-Nafaq Street in eastern Gaza City, according to medical sources.
Local sources and witnesses also reported that Israeli military vehicles and quadcopter drones opened fire on homes and tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the eastern al-Tuffah neighborhood.
In northern Gaza, Israeli artillery struck areas surrounding residential buildings near Sheikh Zayed City in Beit Lahia, while intense gunfire was heard from nearby Israeli positions.
In central Gaza, Israeli forces fired toward residential areas east of the Bureij refugee camp and carried out artillery shelling in nearby areas. No casualties were reported from those attacks.
Israeli Ceasefire Violations Continue
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have killed 1,257 Palestinians and wounded another 4,131 since the agreement was implemented in October 2025.
The latest attacks have further intensified concerns over the continued deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire agreement.
Since Israel launched its war on Gaza on October 8, 2023, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been martyred and over 174,000 others injured, according to Gaza health authorities.
Palestinians have described the Israeli offensive, carried out with US support, as genocidal, while approximately 90 percent of Gaza’s infrastructure has been devastated.
Palestinian Children Continue to Pay the Heaviest Price
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reported that Israeli occupying forces have killed at least 300 Palestinian children in Gaza during the 300 days since the ceasefire was announced in October 2025.
The UN agency said the figure represents an average of approximately one Palestinian child martyred every day, despite the ceasefire agreement being intended to halt Israeli military aggression and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance and relief supplies.
The continued attacks against residential areas, displaced Palestinians, and children underscore the severity of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the urgent need for the ceasefire to be fully respected.
