Iran Army Chief Says Foreign Forces Failed to Achieve Strategic Goals

Tehran: Iranian Army Chief Major General Amir Hatami has said that foreign forces have not been able to achieve their strategic objectives against Iran during the recent confrontation.
Speaking at a ceremony held in memory of the martyrs, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army said that the success of any war is determined by whether the opposing side achieves its goals or not.

According to Amir Hatami, despite attempts to damage Iran’s defense system, Iranian forces continued their operations until the last stage and responded vigorously with missiles and drones.

He said that Iranian air defenses also damaged several enemy drones and warplanes, including important strategic equipment.

The Iranian Army Chief rejected external claims that the country’s defense capabilities were affected, saying that the Iranian armed forces are present at the front with their strength and courage and the enemy is aware of their capabilities.

On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi criticized the United States, saying that Washington is trying to influence the energy market and prolong the conflict through misleading media reports.

Abbas Araqchi said that circles associated with Israel are presenting positive assessments of the situation, but the real burden of the economic impact of the current crisis is being borne by American consumers.
