Field Marshal Asim Munir Meets Lebanese Interior Minister: ISPR

Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, met Lebanon’s Interior Minister, with discussions focusing on the regional situation and broader regional developments, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The meeting also covered matters of mutual interest, regional security and opportunities to enhance defense cooperation between Pakistan and Lebanon. Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations with Lebanon and expressed a desire to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly security.

The Lebanese Interior Minister appreciated Pakistan’s contributions toward regional peace and stability and acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army in the fight against terrorism, ISPR said.
