Marco Rubio Refuses to Back India’s Position on Pakistan

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has refused to support India’s position on Pakistan, saying that maintaining relations with Pakistan is important for the United States.

According to foreign media reports, Rubio said Pakistan is a nuclear-armed country and that the US needs to maintain ties with it.

He said geographical factors make communication with Pakistan important and added that relations with Pakistan must remain part of US foreign policy.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has made a controversial claim that Paris will soon become a Muslim city.

Speaking to reporters in Washington, Trump commented on recent protests and unrest in France. He rejected social, educational and employment issues as the main reasons for the unrest and instead blamed uncontrolled immigration and Islam.

Addressing a large political rally in Kansas, Trump said his political opponents wanted to create a situation in the United States similar to what was happening in France.

He also said he would not compromise on US security or border controls and would not allow the United States to face a situation similar to France.
