Indian restrictions and siege of many areas in occupied Kashmir continue.

The Indian authorities continue to impose restrictions in the Kashmir Valley on the 4th consecutive day, on Saturday.

They want to prevent people from holding demonstrations against the killing of top mujahid commander, Riyaz Naikoo, and other youth by Indian troops.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called for holding of anti-India demonstrations to pay tributes to the martyred youth.

Oppressed Kashmiris want to express solidarity with their families through demos.

The cellular and internet services remain suspended in Pulwama district while SMS and mobile internet services remain snapped in the entire valley.

Meanwhile, Indian troops conducted a cordon and search operation in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

That has caused huge inconvenience to the people.

Indian troops cordoned off Karewa Shadab area of district and sealed all its entry and exit points.

During the operation, they conducted door-to-door searches and checked the identity cards of the people.

Heavy deployment of Indian troops and police personnel was also made in the adjoining areas to prevent people from holding demonstrations against the military operation.

Earlier, Kashmir Youth Assembly and Organization of Kashmir Coalition organized the conference through video link.

Politicians, lawyers and human rights defenders, academics and jurists participated.

They blamed India for exploiting coronavirus crisis to unleash terror against Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir.

They said India is shamelessly exploiting the coronavirus crisis situation to unleash its terror against the youth in occupied Kashmir.

Furthermore, they appealed world bodies including UN Human Rights Council and Organization of Islamic Cooperation to play their role in protecting Kashmiri people.
