National Assembly to resume discussion on the budget on Monday after its budget session held today.

Participating in the debate, Raja Pervez Ashraf said the government should pay full attention to protect the people from coronavirus.

The PPP MNA stressed there is a need to allocate more resources for the health sector in the present situation.

He also criticized the government for not increasing the salaries and pensions in the budget.

PTI MNA Amjad Ali Khan says that Pakistan is moving forward on the path of development under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Furthermore, he said that previous government took loans from the IMF.

He said no compromise will be made on corruption. He said that government should reduce the electricity tariff for farmers.

PMLN’s Riaz Hussain Pirzada criticized the government for not providing any relief to the farmers in the budget.

He said the government should provide fertilizers and electricity to the farmers at subsidized rates.

The house will now meet on Monday at twelve noon.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said India stands diplomatically isolated and on the verge of bankruptcy in the wake of COVID-19.

He said this, while making a policy statement in the Senate on Friday.

Furthermore, he said India has strained its relations with all the regional countries including China and Nepal.

Shah Mahmood said India could resort to a false flag operation against Pakistan in the current situation.

However, he warned we will give a befitting and immediate response if India cast an evil eye on Pakistan.
