SAPM reaffirms govt resolve to complete all projects in Gwadar.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa  reaffirmed the government resolve to complete all projects in Gwadar in line with directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In a tweet on Saturday, he shared some pictures of under construction Gwadar International airport.

Asim Bajwa also heads China Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority. He said construction work on Gwadar International Airport was in progress.

“We reaffirm our commitment to launching and completing all projects in Gwadar in line with PM’s directive.”

After completion, he said the mega Airport costing $230M would be a harbinger of development of Gwadar City and Gwadar Port.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Ambassador to China Naghmana Hashmi said that Pakistan and China have deepened their all-weather cooperation in recent years and have expanded bilateral ties in diverse fields of cooperation for mutual benefit.

She told China Today in an interview that even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the relevant departments of our two countries have maintained close coordination to ensure that our bilateral cooperation is not affected.

Ambassador Hashmi said in the past, the two countries have concluded agreements to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, infrastructure, industrial cooperation, and cultural cooperation.

Pakistan and China also devised various mechanisms for their implementation.
