Nearly 162000 Corona patients recovered so far across Pakistan.

However, 2,769 new coronavirus infection cases reported in the country during the last 24 hours. That took the tally to 251,625 total cases.

According to official update, 161,917 patients have so far recovered from the coronavirus infection across the country.

Province-wise data of total Coronavirus cases had it: 105,533 in Sindh, 87,043 in Punjab, 30,486 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,185 in Balochistan, 14,108 in Islamabad, 1,671 Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,599 in Azad Kashmir.

Meanwhile, 69 deaths were reported during the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 5,266.

On the other hand, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has so far provided over 10.67 million face masks and over 1.5 million N95 and D95 surgical masks to hospitals across the country, to help fight COVID-19 effectively.

According data issued by NDMA, the authority has distributed Personal Protective Equipment in ten tranches.

Among the distributed PPEs, included over 1.3 million protective suits, one million surgical gowns, 633,235 protective goggles, 252,166 face shields.

On Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced an incentive package for the construction industry.

He said, while chairing the first meeting of newly established National Coordination Committee on Housing in Islamabad.

He said the government decided to boost the construction industry for economic revival in times of the coronavirus pandemic.

It includes subsidy on five and 10 marla houses, allocation of 5 percent banks’ finance for house-building and a one-window operation to facilitate builders.
