15 people died of Coronavirus during last twenty four hours across Pakistan.

However, the total number of recovered coronavirus patients in the country has reached 260,764 making it a significant count.

According to the latest statistics, there are now 17,799 active cases in Pakistan.

539 new cases were reported over the last twenty-four hours and 15 deaths were reported during this period.

Meanwhile,  government claims its policy of smart lockdown against coronavirus pandemic has remained successful.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said this, while talking to a private news channel.

He further said the government adopted the strategy of Prime Minister Imran Khan from day one.

The policy aimed to save lives of people from, both coronavirus pandemic and hunger and it remained successful.

Asad Umar said the threat of coronavirus is still there and if standard operating procedures are not followed, virus can start spreading again.

On the other hand, government has lifted its state of Coronavirus emergency.

Since then, the tourism sector is seen coming out of the lurch after a hiatus of five months.

The tourist destinations all over the country including federal capital are slowly reopening and gearing to welcome visitors with adopting government given SOPs.

Pakistani tourist spots reopened its doors for tourists after nearly five months of closure to revive an economy slammed by the coronavirus pandemic.

According to visitors, cultural attractions have also begun to reopen their doors with less crowds and new rules in the country.

Long coronavirus lockdown emergency situation brought these measures. Now a large number of visitors were seen wearing protective masks.

A number of tourists on Sunday also flocked to Naran Kaghan, Nathiagali, Murree, Swat and other tourist destinations in Hazara division.

Police along with officials of other health departments are facilitating the guests.
