The Prime Minister congratulated Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan on assuming the office of Chief of Naval Staff.

He wished him success for his tenure.

Earlier, Admiral Niazi called on CJCSC General Nadeem Raza at Joint Staff Headquarters.

Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Nadeem Raza extended his felicitations to Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi upon assumption of Pakistan Navy command.

As per Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the CJCSC congratulated him.

Furthermore, he expressed his satisfaction over operational readiness of Pakistan Navy.

Meanwhile, Naval Chief paid maiden visit to General Headquarters. He called on COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa in GHQ Rawalpindi.

On Saturday, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa felicitated Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi.

He hoped that Pakistan Navy would achieve new heights under his able command.

During the meeting, matters of professional interest came under discussion.

Earlier, on arrival at GHQ, the Naval Chief laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered fateha for martyrs of Pakistan
