Pakistan summons Indian Chargé d’Affaires to protest ceasefire violations today (Friday).

The Indian Chargé d’Affaires was summoned to Foreign Office today (Friday).

Government of Pakistan registered strong protest over ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation Forces along the Line of Control.

The government of Pakistan said it resulted in shahadats of four innocent civilians and serious injuries to twelve others.

Foreign Office condemned the deplorable targeting of innocent civilians by the Indian occupation forces.

Furthermore, it underscored such senseless acts clear violation of the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.

Moreover, Indian acts go against all established humanitarian norms and professional military conduct.

According to the FO, they made clear that by raising tensions along the LoC and the WB, India cannot divert attention from the grave human rights situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).

Foreign Office called upon the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.

Moreover, the FO urged India to investigate this and other such incidents of deliberate ceasefire violations and maintain peace along the LoC and the WB.

Pakistan government also urged Indian to allow the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan to play its mandated role as per the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.
